Customized Stamps

Customized stamps are becoming more popular as accessibility increases.  Anyone with a home computer and a printer can now create beautiful personalized stamps.  It provides a new way to add personal style and expression to mail for everyone to see.

For around $25 a creative person can purchase software that will allow them to make stamps with just about any image on them.  These are really popular for special events such as weddings, birthdays, and births.  Just think how great it looks to get a birth announcement with the new baby’s picture featured on the stamp.

This is also a great way to let the sender’s personality show through.  Stamps can be changed frequently to feature whatever the sender wants to.   Beautiful vistas, a favorite car, or perhaps a cherished pet can all be made into stamps. 

Personalized stamps are also beginning to be used by companies.  They view the personalization capabilities as another way in which the companies can build and leverage their brand.  These types of stamps are especially useful for companies running direct response marketing campaigns.  Even if the use of these stamps improves the conversion rate a couple of basis points, the cost is well worth the impact.

The U.S. Postal service sells two different versions of software for making stamps.  They also sell self-stick paper and other supplies needed to make professional looking customized stamps.  There are also many other companies that produce stamp software and supplies.
